{☆} — The sight of the familiar cityscape had finally come into view from the Tenebraen airship’s windows, and the princess on board could not contain her relief. The trip to Lucis had not been an easy one she admitted, but Stella Nox Fleuret was certain her stay would be worthwhile. Two full years had passed since the Caelum and Fleuret families last convened in a social gathering over the treaty signing with Solheim and Accordo. However, there had not been plenty of opportunities presented at the time for her to properly converse with both the king and her childhood friend Noctis, and thus had hoped her visit to Lucis would help make amends for that. Upon her arrival, several Lucian attendants were stationed by the palace gates, ready to welcome her to the capital of the technologically-advanced kingdom.
As she was led within the palace’s sublime halls, a familiar face immaculately dressed in a sleek suit amidst a group of political figures had caught her attention. The glint in her eyes were undeniable, as she animatedly approached him, heels clicking rhythmically against the marbled floor.

“Lord Caelum, it is truly a pleasure to see you again after so long. My father sends his humble regards as well.” The Fleuretian greeted the elder monarch cordially, proceeding to offer a small curtsy as a sign of respect. She looked up to meet the king’s aged yet regal visage, a courtly smile evident on her lips.
“I am grateful for the invitation you have given me. I sincerely am.”
